A very well known sad song about accepting loss whilst drowning oneself in love’s despair. Amy’s voice has the ability to get the listener to choke up even if they have no reason to relate. She will always be my most respected idol as a musician and a person. One of the reasons I began to emote and sing and put it out here. I thought it was time to redo the song and put some more of the sadness I’ve collected over the years into it, as disturbing as that is. I know my take on it sounds like a total rip off of hers, but consider it more of a tribute to her than an imitation for credit. And I sound nowhere as amazing as her, this is just my simple heartfelt version.
