Lily Allen - Littlest Things (Cover) (by warshhhh)

Me singing “littlest things” by Lily Allen.
An easy flowing bittersweet song about a failing or perhaps recently ended relationship. We always miss the happier times when things go sour, and here she sings about how the most trivial things take her back, making her wish they could relive it one more time before it’s all gone, or perhaps wishing she had relived it when she had the chance. The song could really be in either sense, nonetheless in the same saddening direction.
Lily has a mellow way of singing her songs, with her accent beautifully complementing any mood whether happy or sad. I heard myself inevitably adding the accent to retain the song’s original essence..doesn’t quite sound right without it. Do let me know what you think with a comment or Like/Dislike :)

Thanks for listening!

Smoke - Moddi

Our hearts are malleable things. They aren’t stone because we feel everything and they aren’t glass because a heart is never completely broken. Whatever heartbreak might happen we always survive through it. No matter what, we can always love once again. It might take a while before we recover but that day always comes around. We’re always feeling the ups and downs. We love and then we fall out of love. It’s a cycle that may hurts us or throws us into euphoria, but it never kills us because we are creatures of survival. We survive not only the harshest of environments but we also survive the worst of matters of the heart. The ability to feel is the most beautiful thing in the natural world.

“A kiss from sullen lips of ashes will probably blow this whole winter away.”

Amazing song.

And wise words.
